Dr. Mark Mayfield

With over 14 years of professional counseling experience in clinical, judicial, and faith-based counseling settings, Mark has extensive experience within the realm of substance abuse (primarily with the adolescent population), and has developed Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy groups for child and adolescent survivors of mental and/or emotional struggles.

Dr. Lori Salgado

A contributing faculty member with Walden University, Lori's research on parental recognition of childhood mental illness was honored with the university's highest award.  Lori also serves as the President of the Depression & Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) chapter in Colorado Springs, and has been a TCA parent for 13 years.

Sgt. Lisa Cintron

Lisa has spent 25 years in law enforcement, serving as a VICE detective, Crime Prevention Officer, and D.A.R.E Officer.  In her current position she oversees all of the school resource officers assigned to the 5 school districts within Colorado Springs.  She is also a member of the board of directors for Teens With Promise,  a charity that provides services to homeless youth trying to finish school.

Panelists

David Galvan

David has been facilitating conversations with students about whole-person health through the context of Sexual Risk Avoidance since 2011. During that time, David has been on almost every High School campus in El Paso County, and has personally spoken to over 20,000 students. In addition, David is passionate about equipping and empowering parents to have conversations with their students about high risk behaviors.

Dallas Shepard

As a Registered Psychotherapist and Low Energy Neurofeedback (LENS) Practitioner, Dallas has completed over 7,000 Neurofeedback sessions helping children, teens, and adults of all ages with stress, depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, concussions, Traumatic Brain Injury, trauma, migraines, sleep issues and much more.  At Harmonized Brain Centers, "We Believe a Harmonized Brain Equals a Harmonized Life."

DeAnna Saine

As a therapist, DeAnna is a passionate ally and supporter of our LGBTQ community and those who are close to the self-disclosed LGBTQ individual.  Her practice focuses upon the support of our LGBTQ community members, and with the supportive, unsupportive or struggling: parents, adult family members, and grandparents in the community.

Sean Shields

Sean currently serves as the high school principal for TCA.

Bridget Ballard-Cummins

Bridget empowers families, couples, and individuals to overcome personal obstacles to improve their communication style in their relationships.  Bridget specializes in Marriage and Family Systems, and has competency within the scope of Integrative Therapies (one combined approach).  She lectures and facilitates custom educational seminars, administers personality assessments and counsels in spiritual direction.

Felicity Taylor

A licensed professional counselor, Felicity currently serves as one of TCA's high school counselors.

Tory White

As a registered psychotherapist and Biblical counselor, Tory works with teens, women, families and couples, and facilitates groups that promote unity and support.  Her four (4) pathways to resolve personal pain are; Balance, Healing, Integration, and Wholeness. Tory believes that showing her clients how to use their creativity helps form new, healthier coping skills and gives new options for continuing forward movement. 

Karen Teel

Karen serves as a Certified Prevention Specialist (CPSII).  She has been teaching prevention awareness and tools for wellness with youth, families, military and law enforcement for over 15 years.  She is dedicated to the philosophy that a well-balanced life is a life well lived.
